On Feb.28, 2010 18-year-old Michael Blosil son of famed family songstress Marie Osmond allegedly took his own life by way of jumping fromĀ  an apartment building. If this is true’ how many times does this have to happen for the world to recognize that suicide is real amongst young people and in too many cases could be avoided? No one wants to burry their child at any age. Anyway you look at it’ it hurts and i’m sure its hard not blame yourself for not being close enough to your child to see what they were really going through. In such times any family wants to be left alone and that is understood yet on the other hand as a society when do we cut off a finger to save a hand? How many times should we see the warning signs and turn away? How many times should we remain silent because we feel like its not our place to speak up or speak out? Do we use this tragedy to save others or do we wait for our turn to mourn? If you relly care make it your business.
