2-Month Old Dead Near Maryland Zoo

Marh 14-2010 Baltimore detectives are investigating the death of a 2  month   old boy who’s body was found stuffed in a bag and hidden in a hole in a wooded area inside of Druid Hill Park near the Maryland Zoo. Police received a call from the childs father on Sunday at approximately 6pm alerting their attention to the whereabouts of the child. It was reported that both  of  the  childs    parents reside in the north west section of the city, but police were unable to contact the mother until Monday.

While authorities await the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of the small boys death’ his death is for now being ruled as a homicide.

Update.

Baltimore Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi has determined that the child died elsewhere and was brought to the park.

Baltimore Police spokesman Donny Moses has stated that the infant child died as a result of blunt force trauma and charges are pending against the 28 year old mother who has several other children.
